The only problem with these new homes and many more like it is that they are built right next to a train track. That means every 15 minutes you will hear the rumbling noise. Many new homes (Milpitas, Santa Clara, and now Sunnyvale) are being built around these train tracks because there are no more land in silicon valley to built homes on so they end up tearing down old warehouses, apartments, tech buildings. Don't get me wrong, they are nice homes and I want one. But once living next to these tracks was a nightmare.

Hey Nicolas,
Thanks for the response. Sunnyvale is an awesome town and I love it too. The downtown is always alive and happening. When they get the downtown area completely constructed it will be an even greater town to live in. I can't wait!!

I don't know about the analogy with Bordeaux, but I must say Sunnyvale is for sure my favorite town in the Silicon Valley. I spent couple of days there in a hotel downtown, and it was great. I recommend the location.

So you can have french living in California. I think we have you beat though. One of the developers named their community after the elven cities in Lord of the Rings. So you can live in middle Earth! The sales office is located on Mirkwood in Rivendell. Sadly, they didn't recreate the great forest so it loses a lot with the desert landscaping.
