Unless I'm missing something, the "bang for the buck" chart assumes that the properties in the cities mentioned are equivalent. Which as we all know is incorrect. For example, Los Altos and Saratoga have (on average) lots 1/3 larger than those of Cupertino and Sunnyvale.
