I happened to hit this article while just browsing the net for home buying guides. I was really impressed with the article and how you cover so many things which a regular guy like me would easily miss out. Kind of convinced me the value of having a good agent to buy a house.

Steve, you nailed so many of the nuances of practicing Bay Area real estate in this post.

Going over the disclosure packet with first time buyers is always a trip. We always warn them during our initial consultation, but they usually think we’re exaggerating until I print out the packet for which 12 trees gave their lives for.
